This training course has been designed for a practical hands-on approach to using CRAMM for security risk analysis and management.
Audience
New users of the CRAMM software and those responsible for the execution of management of risk assessment and management programmes.
The skills you will gain
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the information and security risk analysis and management process.
- Undertake informal information security risk analysis, using CRAMM Express.
- Understand how to apply CRAMM's expert processes to assess risk and achieve suitable risk management for a variety of situations and systems.
- Understand the components of the CRAMM method and software that can be applied to provide 'decision support' for security improvement proposals.
Objectives
On completion of this three day course, you will have an understanding of the CRAMM methodology and CRAMM Version 5.2 software, including its support for ISO 27001. You will be able to use the method and software for your own security risk analysis and risk risk management requirements. You will also learn how to use CRAMM Express - a high level risk assessment within half a day.
