Searching the CRAMM web site
Enter the word(s) or phrase you want to search for below and click Find. By default, pages that have exact matches for ALL of the words entered will be listed. If that fails, pages which contain ANY of the words in your query will be found.
You can modify the default search behaviour in the following ways:
Phrase search
The search engine supports three types of phrase search:
- To match an exact phrase, use quotes around the phrase. For example: "risk management"
- To match a near (within a couple of words) phrase, use square brackets [around the words]. For example: [risk management]
- To match a far (within several words) phrase, use braces {around the words}. For example: {risk management}
Using + and - qualifiers
If you prefix a word with + that word is required. If you prefix a word with - that word is not required. For example: +always -never
Using * wildcard
If you suffix a word with * all words that start with that word (or characters) will satisfy the match. For example: manag*
Using ? wildcard
If a word contains a ? any character will match in that position. For example: r?sk
Boolean search
You can use the AND, OR, NOT boolean operators in your search but they MUST be in capital letters. For example: (contact AND us) OR (about AND us)
Combining search techniques
All of these techniques can be combined in a single query. For example: +alway* -ne??r*
